Allah Ta’ala has taught us a dua to get rid of money problems. We will recite this prayer more and more to get rid of lack. And that’s-

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاء تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيداً لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

“Allahumma Rabbana Anzeel Alaina Maidatam Minassamayi Taqunu Lana Eidalli Awyalina wa Akhiraena Wa Ayatam Minka Waryukna Wa Anta Khairur Raziqin.” (Surah Ma’ida: Ayah 114)

Meaning: ‘O our Lord God! Send down for us from the sky baskets full of food that it may be a feast for our first portion and a feast for our last portion and a sign from You. You grant us sustenance. Indeed, You are the best provider.’

The famous Tabei Makhool Rahmatullahi Alaihi said, “Whoever says these words seven times, Allah will remove seventy of his shortcomings.” (Among them) The least danger is the lack of people. The prayer is-

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللهِ , وَلا مَلْجَأَ مِنَ اللهِ إِلاَّ إلَيْهِ

Meaning: ‘It is not possible to refrain from sin and engage in good deeds without the help of Allah. There is no place to run away from Allah Ta’ala. You have to take refuge with him.

Importance of dua for money problems

Allah is the owner of sustenance. He bestows abundant sustenance upon whom He wills. Our job is to work hard according to his instructions and earn halal. As Allah says:

“Say, ‘Surely my Lord expands sustenance for whomever He wills and shrinks it, but most people do not know that.'” (Surah Saba: Verse 36)

Narrated by Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu Anhu, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, O son of Adam, be free from trouble for my worship, I will fill your heart with abundance and remove your poverty. And if you do not, I will fill your hands with busyness and will not remove your want.’ (Tirmidhi, Musnad Ahmad and Ibn Majah)

Since Allah is the owner of blessings in sustenance, we must strive for lawful earnings and show gratitude to Allah. Dua to him for money problems. Allah says:

And when your Lord announced, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you, and if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment will be severe.” (Surah Ibrahim: Ayah 7)

Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever regularly asks for forgiveness, Allah will find a way out of all his problems, remove all his worries, and provide him with sustenance from an unimaginable source.” (Abu Dawud) and Ibn Majah).

When there is a shortage, we turn to Allah, but as soon as the shortage is removed, we forget Allah and show miserliness. Allah says about this:

“Man was created weak. He panics when he touches danger. And comfort starts stinginess.’ (Surah Maarij: Verses 19-21)

Conditions of Dua for money problems

Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to seek refuge with Allah in matters of scarcity and abundance.’ (Abu Dawud)

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever falls into want, then entrusts it to the people (depends on people to remove the lack), his lack will not be removed.”

On the other hand, the one who falls into poverty and depends on Allah for its remedy, then Allah will give him Tarit or slow sustenance without delay.’ (Tirmidhi and Musnad Ahmad)

If you have a good relationship with your relatives, the problem will go away

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malek, may God be pleased with him, he said, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘Whoever wishes that his sustenance be increased and his life prolonged, let him maintain good relations with his relatives.’ (Bukhari and Muslim)
